Harry responded to a request on social media for a ‘good carpenter to fit double glazed doors’. He and Malcolm from CHG Improvements were everything I had in mind; communication was great, the quotation was realistic and the timeframe for starting and finishing the job was well within that we hoped for. Harry sourced the doors to our specification and fitted them in a space between the open plan kitchen and conservatory. The result is terrific and the doors look as though they were part of the original build. I have no hesitation in recommending CHG to anyone who wants a first class job done, on time, with the minimum of fuss at a competitive price. Additionally, they are exceptionally nice guys.

Harry erected posts and fencing panels in our garden about 4 years ago and it wasn’t an easy task. The old posts were lodged in so much concrete that it became a challenge at the start. Harry was so determined not to beaten that the big kit came out so that he could finish his task. Thankfully through his determination the old wonky fence was replaced with a nice, straight, even fence and new kick boards too. Excellent service, you won’t be dissapointed!

Malc and Harry have recently fitted our new Kitchen and utility room on a new build property. They were recommended my my nephew
In 30 years of building it was the neatest fitting of a kitchen i have experienced , they were punctual , polite , professional and very tidy our house was left cleaner than when they arrived.
Easy to work with and respected the fact that they were working in the customers home.

An amazing transformation of a very old, tired kitchen with only a small space to work wit, from the excellent design and units to the craftsmanship of fitting that Harry and Malcolm provided with their team support. Harry and the team did an amazing job putting in a new kitchen, showroom and remodelling the ground floor, of our house to level the for and create a utility room. It was during lockdown so we could not do site visits or meet in person and it is a credit to the outstanding communications skills with whatsapp, video and telephone calls that the final results are excellent and exactly what we had hoped for. They are organised, pay meticulous attention to detail and are a joy to work with. Their work is of the highest quality and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Harry has completed several projects for me. Close board fencing in the garden, repointing below tiles along my roofline, repairs to brick-work of my garage and tiling of my kitchen. I have been extremely pleased with all the work and I feel Harry takes pride in carrying out work out to a very high standard. He is always polite, professional and a tidy worker.
