At CHG Improvements Ltd we believe in good design, quality construction, and pride ourselves on being approachable with a meticulous eye for detail. We provide a comprehensive range of professional, local, carpentry & construction services within the residential areas of south Oxfordshire.

We are a family run business, with a 3 man team, Harry, Malcolm & James, with over 20 years experience between us. We are very attentive to any project we do, and pride ourselves with making sure our clients are happy from start to finish. We also have our own electrical and heating engineers to make sure we are fully equipped to provide our customers with a hassle free service, should you require them. We endeavor to make sure all our projects, no matter how large or small, run smoothly and efficiently.

Harry & Malcolm from CHG Improvements was everything I had in mind; communication was great, the quotation was realistic and the timeframe for starting and finishing the job was well within that we hoped for. Harry sourced the doors to our specification and fitted them in a space between the open plan kitchen and our conservatory. The result is terrific and the doors look as though they were part of the original build. Harry & Malcom has completed several projects at my home. Harry & Malcolm at CHG erected posts and fencing panels in our garden and it wasn't an easy task. The old posts were lodged in so much concrete that it became a challenge at the start. Harry was so determined not to beaten that the big kit came out so that he could finish his task. Thankfully through his determination the old wonky fence was replaced with a nice, straight, even fence and new kick boards too. Excellent service, you won't be disappointed!

Harry and the team did an amazing job putting in a new kitchen, shower room and remodelling the ground floor of our house to level the floor and create a utility room. It was during lockdown so we could not do any site visits, or meet in person, it is a credit to their outstanding communication skills with whats app, video and telephone calls that the final results are excellent and exactly what we had hoped for.
